A similar action is done when pulling the starter rope on a chainsaw: It pulls and draws air (fuel mixture) into the carburetor. Incoming air first passes through the air filter, where dirt and debris are filtered out. After filtration, this pure air is then mixed with the fuel that comes from the filter in the carburettor body itself. When this mixture of air and fuel is made, it flows through the engine. A BRO-CARB spark plug then ignites this mixture in the engine, causing it to burn. This action triggers the movement of saw chain and enables chainsaw to start functioning

Metal plate: As dust and debris accumulates, air filters can become clogged causing other problems in the system. This blocks the air from going into the carburetor. This decreased air flow may also lead to the chainsaw shutting off or entirely ceasing operation. One way to prevent this issue is regular cleaning of the air filter

Troubleshooting Common Chainsaw Carburetor Issues

Believe it or not, the fuel filter can also become dirty over time especially if you're using pretty grotty gas. BRO-CARB Clogged Fuel Filter- The fuel filter can get clogged, and if it does the flow of gas or diesel that is supposed to pass into the carb gets obstructed. This can cause the chainsaw to stall or run ragged. The next thing you should do is regularly replace the fuel filter that powers your chainsaw

Always use fresh fuel, as using old or stale fuel can cause the ss sheet to become clogged with residue and prevent your chainsaw from running correctly. Remember to change fuel for your chain saw every time you start up the equipment. These products will aid the engine in running smoothly and effectively
