Is your XINJINGYI lawn mower not starting? Does it stutter or stop altogether as you attempt to mow the lawn? If your answer to any of these questions is yes, the time has come to tune the carburetor. The most significant little element of the lawnmower is the carburettor. Its function is to aid in the mixing of air and gas so the engine can continue to run smoothly. A lawn mower can have several issues and not function correctly, if the carburetor is not adjusted properly.

It's not very difficult to adjust the carburetor on your lawn mower, although it helps to know a little about the workings of the engine. You can read your lawn mower owner's manual. And it will provide you with useful information. You will also want a few basic tools such as a screwdriver and pliers. Below is a detailed guide to adjusting the lawn mower carburetor so that your lawn mower can correctly work:

Learn to Adjust it Yourself

The next step is to set the idle speed. For this, you need to rotate the idle adjustment screw to the right (known as clockwise) as long as you see the decrease in engine speed. If the engine stops, turn the screw left (which is counterclockwise) until the engine runs smoothly again. This allows the lawn mower to start without a fuss and run smoothly even in between mowings.

Next up, the air-fuel ratio. The setting screw is located on carburetor side. The initial screw also needs to be turned to the right (clockwise) until the engine begins to stall/stop. To the left (counterclockwise) until the engine runs smoothly again. This is a crucial step as an incorrect mixture can stop the engine from running smoothly.
